On September 20 in the United Kingdom starts the final season of “Downton Abbey”. Thanks to the wonders of the World Wide Web, fans get to check out the trailer.

The trailer is emotional and Robert Crawley tells Mr. Carson: “If I could stop history in its tracks, maybe I would. But I can’t, Carson, for neither you nor I can hold back time.”.

Last season for Downton Abbey’s story.

This drama premiered in 2010 and follows the lives of the aristocratic Crawley family and their servants on the Downton Abbey residence. First season described life in pre-World War I England, while the fifth one season covered the late ‘20s. In this new season, the action will take place six months after the last one ended.

Producers have already announced that this sixth season would be the final one got this popular series.

In the United States “Downton Abbey” airs on PBS and the new season is expected to start in January 3, 2016.
