Thursday. At 2 p.m., police officers arrived to the home on Hallwood Drive in north St. Louis Country. At this address they discovered the death body of a 16-year-old lying in the front foyer.
The boy, we still do not know his name, had been shot in the head while breaking into the home. The 11-year-old boy who lived inside shot him. This 11-years-old had been left there alone along with his 4-years-old sister.
Sgt. Brian Schellman said that the 16-years-old boy tried three times to break into the house. One woman told CNN that the 16-years-old boy didn’t enter the house and the two boys were on the front porch and “They were just arguing loud, you know, back and forth.”
I recent weeks this is the third deadly incident involving children and guns in St. Louis.
